DVD Review - The Raid 2

If you thought the first one was pretty badass let me warn you... you haven't seen nothing yet!

Hey guys,

Today is action weekend film review so, to start off, here's a look at a sequel of one of the greatest action movies I've ever seen... the Raid 2!

If you know your action movies, you know asian guys are becoming pretty big on the whole martial arts punch to the face, knee to the chin movies for quite some time. It all started with Jackie Chan in China back in the day but more recently we have had great examples with Ong-Bak (Thailand) and now this duet of mayhem called the Raid (Indonesia).

This is without question another level of fighting action movies. Not only because of the choreographies involved but also by the amount of ass kicking that is going on at the same time on screen. Really amazing work considering this is a very low budget film comparing to other Hollywood movies.

All in all if you are a big 80's action movies fan this is what the new century martial arts film  is looking like... and it's looking pretty damn good!

A most definitely elbow to the teeth 4 out of 5!
