Pedophilia by the church is an even sensitive subject to approach. So how do you approach such a uncomfortable plot and still keep a movie interesting, entertaining and not scaring the audiences away?! Well... you get amazing actors, an awesome screenplay, a talented director and there you go!
That is what Spolight is! It's an amazing movie about a real scandal that is still a big controversy in the world today.
This a great paced movie, with amazing interpretations by all the cast. A great story, a great plot and one of those movies that will make you ask very relevant questions about todays relationships between power and religion.
It's a really dark film... but with no actual dark scenes in it! See it and take some lessons from it!
An amazing four out of five!
