Movie Review - Your Name (Kimi no Na wa)

Don't let the poster fooled you. This is much more than a love story!
There's always been a bit of a fuzz between just where animation movies can go.

Most people see them as for teenagers or young people, sometimes for older audiences but only to depict a more sexualized content or violence but never for a more profound critic on society or modern day issues. On "Your Name" I don't see we have a great political story but what we have in a nutshell is a great movie!

And I don't mean animation movie, I mean movie!

This breaks all boundaries of film-making editing, storyline, plot, emotions, all the things that we old true to other movies as awards this does... only with lines and colors. This is a not to miss mark in the movie industry and certainly a lesson to anyone anywhere who's ever said "animation is for kids".

Don't be fooled by the love/romance story either. This is a well thought out movie from the first frame to the last and it shows once you've seen it.

I advice everyone to see what could be a life changing movie that will make all your horizons expand, enlarge and amaze.

A five out of five!
