The Division 1.8.2 - TOP Classified Builds

There are fourteen sets of classified builds in The Division so far (plus some variations). This number is not likely to increase given that The Division 2 has been announced and most veteran players (myself included) are now migrating to other games, just returning for the occasional shield commendations or maybe when the new game releases.

Having stated this, there are some folks just now getting into the game that maybe want some insight on what build they should pursue or what is the ultimate best build. I provide a list of my TOP Builds in the game and a little insight to each one here.

15. Alpha Bridge "The Alternative" | Firepower ★★★ | Survivability ★

Unless you're doing some daily solo hard missions, this is not the build you wanna be using in the game. If you don't have any other classified, this is the alternative!

14. Dead Eye "Critical Zoom" | Firepower ★★★★ | Survivability ★

Good for PvP maybe but for most PvE missions the DPS isn't all that great cause it nerfes your headshot. So, unless you're an avid KB/M PvP player, I can't really recommend it.

13. Lone Star "The Supressor" | Firepower ★★★ | Survivability ★★

A good build for LMG's but not great for anything else. You can take full advantage of this against Hunters in the Underground.

12. Final Measure "Bomb Expert" | Firepower ★★ | Survivability ★★★★

The grenade nerf is awesome in both PvP and PvE, however the low DPS in firearms isn't great for anything else. Nice to have but not imperative.

11. Fire Crest "The Fire Starter" | Firepower ★★★ | Survivability ★★★

As crowd control goes, this build is awesome. If you team it with other support skill builds there's no stopping you. However as a solo build it's not that great cause the turret makes you very stationary.

10. D3 - FNC "The Bullet Magnet" | Firepower ★★ | Survivability ★★★★

One of the most required builds in team plays. It has great strength and can help a whole team both in harder missions and PvP. However you'll have a hard time with mobility using it and if they get behind you on PvP you'll be down in secs.

9. Hunter's Faith "The Killer" | Firepower ★★★★★ | Survivability ★

My favorite sniping build... but not for PvP.

8. Tactician "Demolition Expert" | Firepower ★★★★★ | Survivability ★★

One of the most (if not the most) fun skill build in the game. However, health will be a problem using it so be aware of that!

7. Sentry's Call "Marks For Stacks" | Firepower ★★★★ | Survivability ★★★

The only reason this one is a better option than Hunter's Faith it's because of the stacking effect it has on your designated target. Get it up to six and the whole team will know who to hit and that NPC will be out in no time. Not for PvP!

6. Banshee "DZ Main" | Firepower  ★★★★ | Survivability ★★★

Only good if you run the DZ a lot but it's still one of my most favorite builds in the game. Quick increase XP, DZ credits and ofc out of cover Damage to both Rogue and Players. I like it!

5. Striker [6K] "Meta Main" | Firepower ★★★★ | Survivability ★★★★

You're main build for the entire game but there are more interesting others.

4. Reclaimer "The Health Keeper" | Firepower ★★★ | Survivability ★★★★★

Absolute best support build in the game. Your team absolutely needs it for anything in the game. Have one and the game becomes a lot smoother!

3. Predator's Mark "The Bleeder" | Firepower ★★★★★ | Survivability ★★★

Even after the bleed effect being nerfed, it's still one of the most awesome DPS builds in the game. If you're into PvP and wanna get some agents to rally up against you, take it to the DZ or Last Stand.

2. Nomad "The Unkillable" | Firepower ★★★ | Survivability ★★★★★

Think what you think about the Nomad, this build will help you survive and/or endure anything and anything in The Division. It works great in a squad, even better if solo!

1. Striker [9K] "The Ultimate"  | Firepower ★★★★ | Survivability ★★★★★

Absolute best build in the game!
