DVD Review - Brave

Little Orange Princess is getting ready to be Brave... and stand up to her mom! Disney has had better days.
Hey you guys,

Time for another review and this time is a Disney Classic tale... Brave! So is it a great movie, a technical achievement or just another little princess song and play film?

Well to tell you the truth (and despite the fact that it is a nice kid movie...) I really didn't feel it all that much. The reason?! Is another little girl rich princess I wanna get out of mama and daddy house syndrome movie. I mean don't get me wrong but wasn't that the whole story behind "Tangled" as well?! And why... Disney why... do you keep going back to the little princess things?!

When I started to see Disney movies they were about adventure, the unknown, romance, magic and fear. This movie is only about a girl and her mom (there's a little magic but that's it).  In my humble opinion, Disney has been doing to much female oriented movies and not enough male characters get the lead nowadays and it's a real shame!

I grew up on Aladin, Tarzan, Lion King even Robin Hood or Finding Nemo are all about adventure, a journey of some kind and a little romance and gag on the side but this... this is called BRAVE but has absolutely nothing brave about it! It's just a girl wanting to get out of her mama skirts for 90% of the movie and 10% some adventure.

A good kids movie (it has songs and great animation and the gag's are quite funny) but I wouldn't recommend it if you have seen anything late on the silver screen by Disney or Dreamworks.

A very fearful 2 out of 5!
