Series Review - House of Cards
I don't usually make this kind of reviews but this had such an great impact on me that I just had to write about it. Sure we've all heard of the huge success that's Walking Dead or Breaking Bad. I mean they have a great cast, great scrip, amazing plot twists and moments that everyone loved and enjoyed so much that made meme after meme of it. But in House of Cards you get a much different kind of show!
This doesn't have zombies or drugs or police or guns or anything that you might call action worthy. What it does have is academy awarded Kevin Spacey in one smartest, well written, intelligent series you'll ever lay your eyes on.
Not only does it describes the White House halls of power procedures and works, it also show you how they can be subverted and played by their representatives. All in the most (un)democratic way possible. Kevin Spacey plays so well a modern day Maquiavel that you'll be left with many questions and suspects about todays relationships between economical and political powers.
This is a must see for anyone that want's or has a strong political view about a subject or theme. And you'll learn why some things are the way they are. but remember this is all fiction... or isn't it!
You'll witness the rise of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), you'll be be shocked, amazed, angry, excited, disgusted and you'll love and hate him accordingly but in the end you'll just be left wanting more and more!
A most well worthy our of five! And you'll not regret it!
