DVD Review - Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

Tom still got it... but the movie could be (a lot) better!
Tom Cruise is back!

Forget the fact that he's pass fifty and this is the fifth "Impossible" movie he's done. Let's forget all that and just think "He's still doing movies!" and action movies at that! Not just a little action... a lot of it! How awesome is that?!

Pretty much as awesome as this movie I would guess. Yeah... not that much!

This is another solid IMF movie. A man, a team (kinda), a mission and in the middle of it a whole lot of things that go wrong. I would say I really like the movie if not for the fact that this time they are not so much "a team" as in previous films and that the villain, well... he's quite lame!

The villain is so lame that all the does is the movie is kill a girl. That's it! One girl. No plan to take over the world, no death ray, not ticking time bomb in the middle of a major city, nope. He just kills one girl! Laaaaaaammmmeeeeee!

On a little side note, have u seen how lame villains have become in movies lately? I mean in the 80's the villain was a mother f***er badass aristocrat multimillion martial artist mastermind! Now... now they are just guys that are crazy or want revenge from something (usually job or work related). That's it! Spoiled over bastardized infants that no one even cares about. No wonder they're crazy!

But in the good old days the villain was the peak of it all. I mean you couldn't just kill him! You had to bring a mother f***ing plane on his ass with a bomb just to make sure you could wound the f***er! I wish they could bring some of those villains back cause I miss a good old final battle mano-a-mano between the hero and the bad guy at end of a flicK!

Anyway... (getting back on track) that's why this movie isn't that awesome. Cause what we have to start and end the movie is just a guy! Not a scary omg that guy is f***ing evil. All we have it's just a guy!

Still the fun is there, and we have a wonderful female leading role, so it gets a three out of five!
