So, for my reviews today I now turn my attentions to the world of martial arts. Kung Fu to be more precise and let me began with the asian master of the genre nowadays, Donny Yen.
If you know Donny, you know he's been the new father of martial arts movie from Hong Kong for quite some years now, producing and staring in his new series of Ip Man films. On this third story on the Wing Chun master of Bruce Lee we get a much more light driven story. A less battle and more drama story driven plot with Ip Man having some questions about his life goals and his family.
The passing and the action of the movie are somewhat slower than that of the previous films. You can even tell a bit that Yen is not the fast aggressive fighter of his former self anymore still, it's a great Sunday afternoon action flick to enjoy. Also there's a special appearance by former heavy weight champion Mike Tyson and for that fight alone the movie is worth a watch!
