DVD Review - Kong: Skull Island

A big ape against helicopters?! Nope... Never seen that before!
Yes, it's another Kong movie!

After the black and white classic of 1933, then with color in 1976 and finally the astonishing Peter Jackson version of 2005, it seems Hollywood cannot get enough of this big size ape so... they made a another one.

To start with we already knows Kong all too well, and it seems the cast also did. It's almost as we are seeing a movie where everyone - characters included - already know what's on the island, who lives there, how fantasial it is, how some of them are gonna day and how the thing will end!

I'm not saying it's a bad or good thing, it's just there is no expectancy cause we already know what's absolutely going to happen!

The movie has clear visual mistakes from beginning to end but we almost don't care cause the people in the movie clearly already knew there were gonna be mistakes, and errors and someone was die. It's the kind of movie that doesn't surprise or disappoints. It's just so you can have a good two hours of mayhem and explosions with a big ape in the mix.

A hairy three out of five!
