News - Disney expands to a galaxy far, far away!

In the future, this could very well be the new logo presented on all Star Wars and Marvel movies.

As I'm sure most of you know, Disney has acquired LucasFilms along with all it's marvelous properties like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. So the big question is after The Muppets, Marvel and Star Wars, what's left for Disney to take ownership of?

My take on this whole thing is very simple... Disney is becoming a too big a company for so many entreprises to be a part of! I mean I've been enjoying Disney more and more after such great films like the Pirates of the Caribbean and (after the Marvel purchase) Tron.

I mean they had it all! Action, fun, special effects and a good solid plot... just awesome! But seing it getting bigger and bigger like that just makes me wonder how much longer it's gonna take until the money starts making more sense than the creativity and originality of each story or character? 

They say they're planning a new Star Wars trilogy beginning 2015, but you see we also have the Marvel movies and the new Avengers movie planned for those years now. So, what it's gonna be?! Marvel franchise or Star Wars back in action full force?!? Or both!? And is there enough money and public for all of that if they hit on the same year?

These questions leave me with a little discomfort feeling that if Disney ever takes bad turn, some other great franchises can suffer from it! If the money starts to fall short who's favorite hero are they gonna put in the front line... and who's gonna be left out?!

Mother always said "Never put all your eggs in one basket!" and Disney my friends is becoming one big basket!
