DVD Review - Taken 2

Liam Neeson getting into "family" matters for a second time!

Hello fellow bloggers and movie enthusiasts, it's time to review of one of the latest movies I've seen again... And this time the happy choice went to Taken 2 with Liam Neeson.

For those of you who haven't seen the first one Liam plays the part of an ex-military consultant that is a badass father and when is little (minor) daughter gets kidnaped on a trip to Europe (which he very much did not approve of) he stops nothing to get her back... kicking all the ass he can find in the way!

On the sequel to that movie, he is still the kick-ass father figure but this time it's his ex-wife (going through yet another divorce) and his daughter that are the target of the head of the organization that is decided to avenge the dead comrades of the first film.

There isn't much to say about the movie since is almost a copy of the first (not much on originality there Luc Besson) but it has more action and more cars and action than the first. Also we get to see the daughter getting more physical action against her attacker so, that's always good!

In a not shell it's the first movie but more and to me that is just what I was expecting and got and I'll bet they'll make a third one!

A very concise 3 out of 5!
