DVD Review - Dead Man Down

Colin Farrell is back for another fast paced, fast punch action movie... or so we thought!

Hey guys,

I know exactly what you guys are thinking. Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace and Oscar nominated Terrence Howard on a action packed film? Sounds great, right?! ... Wrong!

To start off the movie has the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) seal of approval, which means that at some point you'll have one or two WWE superstars just going around getting hit or dead. And although the story is a very simple one - man loses family and starts a revenge campaign against their killers - the pacing of the movie is so slow that it reminds us of "in Bruges", with a less engaging argument.

To top it off the action scenes are few, far apart and way to much gored than the movie should be. All in all I don't really recommend this one, not even if you're a Colin fan. And it's a shame cause the cast deserved better.
