DVD Review - Wonder Woman

Japanese movie posters are just better!

Hello everyone,

Back again for another movie review, this time I tackle a bit of a controversial theme in movie reviewing. As you probably already know Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) was labeled a "disaster" by the reviews and most people decided that the magic of Zack Snider was gone and all his hero movies were gonna be a downfall ever since but when Wonder Woman came out it seems that most media changed their minds and saluted her as a masterpiece of womanhood, something that everyone should that a look because it was just soo awesome.

I like to address this issue by saying that I really enjoyed Batman Vs Superman far more than Wonder Woman and (even being a good movie) Wonder Woman has no reason to be so acclaimed or praised like it did/does!

The movie starts off really weird with a lot of inconsistencies to the plot and story. It diverges to a more action packed, fun movie but it provides a really bad (and totally expected) twist at the end. I don't understand how the media would give such praise to this movie!

I believe that was most of Disney media wishing to empower woman in film more than anything else. That and the fact that women are somewhat seen as lesser actors compared to man in Hollywood might have something to do on why the reviews were so great on this film. 

Don't get me wrong Wonder Woman is a nice movie but nothing to be all hyped about (at least in my view).
